I hold no illusions of 800s.
There is no hope that I”ll run the Johnny Kelly loop in 40:00.
I doubt I’ll even jog a full quarter mile.
But I will be at the track at 5:15 tomorrow morning because that is what Wednesday’s are for.

Congratulations Dave on finishing the marathon. Still a pretty good time considering you cramped up. I did 2 marathons (Portland Oct 1 and Denver Oct 15) and I cramped up on both of ‘em. I finished but now I’m trying to figure out how to prevent cramping in my future marathon races.
Why are you back on the track so soon? Rest! Your body needs it. If you have to run, go do a 2 miler.
